When you are working with a new imaging modality, it is important to know that you have knowledgeable technical and clinical resources to call upon whenever you have a question. At Gamma Medica, our goal is to build the strongest professional services team to support your institution, including:

Each new customer will receive a three-day hands-on training. The comprehensive onsite training course includes both scanner hardware and software functions, how to acquire LumaGEM MBI scans, how to perform quality control procedures, radiation safety, actual patient scans, and much more.
This formal training program has been reviewed and approved by the Society of Nuclear Medicine. A total of 12.25 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be awarded to each technologist at the completion of training.

Service and Maintenance Contracts
Gamma Medica offers annual service and maintenance contracts for your LumaGEM system. We don’t focus on fixing problems after they happen: our goal is to keep your system available for patient needs, which is why we include annual preventive maintenance in our contracts. All service is performed or provided by Gamma Medica service personnel.
We have a number of service contract options to meet the needs of your facility.
Our service and maintenance contracts cover:
- Parts, Labor and Travel
- Unlimited remote technical and applications support
- Service personnel onsite within 24 hours
- Annual onsite preventative maintenance, including onsite calibrations, performance testing and system operational verification.
- Software updates will be conducted onsite
